Theory Thursday- The Doctor's Grammy

The Doctor, all through the new series (starting 2005 to now), has refrenced several family members. These include a mother, a brother, daughter, and grand daughter. By extention of this we can see that he had a father and a wife. All of these family members died (or sucked into a time vaulted dimension. Take your pick) during the great time war.
One line is said though that has had fans bustling was stated in the T.V. movie with The Doctors 8th incarnation. “I’m half human on my mothers side”. This line was originally dismissed as a throw away line to show off just how strange he really is, so it wasn’t mentioned a lot. Then came the series 9 finale when Me asked the doctor why he favored earth so much, and suggested he was a human- time lord hybrid.

So  how is this possible? Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to theory Thursday.
It seems to be generally accepted that Mary Poppins actually belongs in the Doctor Who universe and is, herself, a Time Lady. To catch you guys up on how this is possible, look at these similarities  between the Doctor and Mary Poppins:
Both sit on clouds
Bigger on the inside
These are just a couple. Do a search for "Mary Poppins Time Lady" and you'll get more.
Mary Poppins has already met Bert by the beginning of the movie, and we can say that their relationship was rather romantic. Bert in the song “it’s a jolly holiday with Mary” pretty much declares his love for Mary with such lines as “when Mary holds your hand, you feel so grand, your heart starts beating like a big brass band” and “no wonder that it’s Mary that we love”. Also Bert was the only one to say goodbye to Mary, adding a tag at the end to “don’t be away too long”.
Personality traits play another part in this theory. In an article published by the New York Times, scientists were conducting a study on twins separated from each other and found that more than 50% of personality traits are passed geneticly and the remaining is rearing. The article states : "For most of the traits measured, more than half the variation was found to be due to heredity, leaving less than half determined by the influence of parents, home environment and other experiences in life".
For time lords however, this study may change as that each re-generation of the Doctor produces a different personality. For instance: 11 will throw bread out the window and 10 would never do that. Some things stay constant though:
Fear of loss

Pride
No nonsense in an emergency
Now these traits can be manifested in Mary Poppins as well.
Fear of loss
Pride
No nonsense in an emergency
Seems “practicly perfect in every way” is far from “perfect” after all.

My theory: based on similarities in the jobs of both characters, personality traits passed down through genetics and rearing, and certain lines from The Doctor himself, The Doctors grand parents are Bert and Mary Poppins, making him half human on his mothers side.
Agree? Disagree? Let me know in the comments! Have a good day and enjoy the rest of your week!
