Theory Thursday: Elsa the Enchantress

So we all know the story by now. Elsa has magical powers, gets locked in a castle, leaves castle, comes back to castle and everything is hunky dory. But what if this is a secret history of what happened to Elsa after the credits? This, is a fan theory!

Remember Beauty and the Beast? At the beginning of the movie, Beast is turned into a Beast (what was his name before? We think it’s Adam, but we aren’t sure) by an enchantress that also turns the staff into household items and probably animated the already furnature, furnature (because that would be a lot of servants and not a lot of household items otherwise). Now check this out:

Elsa has mutant magic powers, not just ice powers. We see her make dresses, create sculptures, animate otherwise inanimate objects like olaf, marshmallow, and the “little brothers” from “frozen Fever”.

The way Elsa controls her magic is through emotion. Love seems to be the ultimate cure-all solution to bad magic. Marshmallow, the scarier of the snowmen, was created in Elsa’s anger while olaf, the free spirited one, was created during the “Let it Go” sequence. The “little Brothers”, the fun playful ones, were created when Elsa was trying to throw a party.

Now lets say that elsa is only beginning to “test [her] limits and break through” since she only started “[seeing] what [she] can do” when she ran away from the castle. If she can bring life to snow, who’s to say she can’t do it to other things as well? Maybe ice powers are just a level 1 thing? Take a look at this:

Love is the ultimate cure- all in both places.

Assuming that Elsa grows into more power and becomes immortal, my theory is that she is the enchantress that turns the Beast into the Beast.
