Those of you who have been following my blog for a while
would maybe remember the Disney multiverse theory. Part of the theory was that
there were certain pathways that led out of the Disneyverse and entered into other
canonical universes.
Welcome to Theory Thursday
Let’s call this one Cloriearthian. (klor-ee-earth-ee-an)
Harry lived under a stairwell. poor guy never stood a chance. |
We start with a boy who lived. Harry Potter gets a visit and
is told that he is indeed a wizard. In order to become a wizard you have to
fulfill a certain amount of requirements. You have to be born with the magic in
you, you have to have a desire to harness the magic within, and you have to be
told about it. Modern medicine can’t tell you if you have enough magic-ness in
your bloodstream. This is part of the reason why Harry was sought after. He is
a wizard, but had to get those powers explained to him. Sure there may have
been manifestations of magic power when he was younger, but a combination of
ignorance and his terrible aunt and uncle suppressing his potential hid that.
Meanwhile… a long time ago… in a galaxy far far away…
Anikin Learned how to harness his magic force earlier on seeing as how he was granted a certain amount of freedom to explore. |
Anakin Skywalker is born. Having a higher midi-chlorian
count than nearly everyone that the Jedi have seen. Anakin’s situation was
different as he wasn’t nearly as suppressed as Harry never the less he was
picked up by the Jedi to train and learn the Jedi customs and ways.
If we abide by the principle that science works the same way
no matter where you are in the universe then may I propose the following
history.
Some creatures had it easy and just need to pull their hair forward to hide their ears others aren't as accepted. |
Before our age of man there were many more humanoid
creatures in the open than we know of now. One of these was Frodo. Frodo had a
destiny. He fulfilled it and time went on. As the world progressed
technologically and digressed mystically, many galaxies away were embracing
both the technological and mystical side of the universe. It’s this unique circumstances
that allowed Luke Skywalker to avenge his father and bring peace to the galaxy
(just in time for the first order to start pushing people around).
On earth we learn that the warlocks and the hobbits and the
magical creatures didn’t go away. They entered into a pocket dimension accessible
by many routes including but not limited to train, wardrobe, painting, and an
apple tree. Harry went to one side of the dimension to go to school and many a
child has traveled to the other side into a kingdom dubbed “Narnia”. The rest
of earth would move on to create technological wonders and re-console
themselves with aliens of all kinds. The mystics were finally able to come out
of hiding. After a while Captain James T. Kirk took command of the enterprise.
So there you go. Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter,
Narnia, and Star Trek all take place in the same time line.
What do you think? Are there any other franchises that fit
in this set up? Agree? Disagree? Let me know in the comments below! Don’t
